But you can think like this, Essense Bond + Balth Spirit works perfect. 2 energy (no shit ^^) then the problem The burning. But if you think you can put in Ind(something) Parasite you will have some good healing. And while curse attribute is in 16 you will get some nice health.
Due to the energy problem Soul Reaping comes in. I think you will get enough energy after *Each* mob.
Tomorrow I'm gonna play my necro then we see if it works or not. ^^

-20 hp offhand is a reward from some lowbie pre-searing quest. I saved mine when I saw it in my bags one day.

I'm going with PS, SoA, SpiritBond, IW, AV, SV, Blessed Aura, Balth. Spirit
Spirit Bond against Burning.. Using a scythe to kill them. It works good but takes some time.

Wow a guildi told me to keep this farm a secret. Lol one day i was bored and decided to try to 55 them. It worked so i have been farming them for about 3 weeks now. I have salvaged 40+ rubies 50+sapphires and it only seems to keep getting better Got the paragon and dervish greens from the area vanilla was talking about. Both bosses are easy to kill. To clear the zone of all djinn takes be about 2 hours. But 50k+ an hour is not a bad trade off. (not the 100k + from troll farming but hey a monk has to do what a monk has to do). When i first started this run i also died alot. So if ur running with the grim cesta i say die once. Lowers ur health to 23. You can tank a lot of the djinns. Only thing is make sure that you keep hb up at all times othr wise ur gonna get killed really fast.
glyph of healing. Pm me in game to see it.

I've tried both Pricey and Vanilla's builds in the area Vanilla talked about.

The ethers are the first major problem, when I am lucky enough to not have to deal with or avoid them the next big problem seems to be that I will once in awhile get a big spam of damage and be dead or the fire degen keeps me too low, also energy seems to be a bit of a problem.

Vanilla's seems to be a bit better for the area he was in, but I would like to know how many Skill Points and a bit of strat for the area, dealing with energy, how many mobs to fight and of course the ethers. Any of this would be greatly appreciated.

What is the name of this -20 HP Off hand item? And when you get the Djinn Essence's does it matter if you use a superior or expert salvage kit to get the ruby / sapphire?

I use Superior kits for everything ... and I can tell you the essences give you a LOW success rate no matter the kits (Or so I would think)...

You dont know the number of times I've seen:
"You salvaged 1 pile of dust from Ruby/Sapphire/Diamond Dijinn Essence."
:/

As for the farm, my NF necro is through the game, I may have to go get SS and try it out (My Factions Necro w/ SS, SV, etc isnt that far)

**Edit**
Now what about the Roaring Ethers? I believe they carry enchant removal?
I know there's a few lurking near the dijinn fire ele boss (As shown on 1st screenshot). Also a few in Dasana Vasbule(sp).

Just ignore them ... or ... go get 'em?!?

I'm not finding this farm as profitable as everyone else is. I'm nowhere near the 50k+/hour that missmelady is claiming, not even close.

I cleared the first couple groups in dasha a few times, and about 10 groups of djinn in makuun. I netted a couple of purple ruby daggers (junk mods), which salvaged into dust, a few essences (dust), and around 1k in gold. The makuun run took about 20 mins, but the dasha groups took forever. I think it would have been just as fast to use spoil victor.

I tried both the 55+breeze and 150+SoA methods, SoA is waaaay better. I also tried subbing in boon for mending/watchful, and i think it works equally well if not better.

I tried the build used in the posted (german?) screenshot. from what i can tell its heal=8, df=12, prot=14, leaving 10 for curses. Not so sure on the staff thats being used, but i used a totem axe and a collectors +5/+45^ench offhand. This was rather slow, SS just doesn't have good damage at only 10 curses.

I understand that on the rare occasion that you salvage a gem from an item it will be profitable, but i would be willing to bet the chance of that is only a couple percent.

I really think that duo farming dasha would be the best option. Something like UW with a monk tanking and a necro echoing ss and reckless haste.

As for the roaring ethers in dasha vs makuun, the ethers in makuun have ench removal (shatter) and the ones in dasha just have an e-drain (which is far less deadly, but equally annoying). I would make them a priority target in dasha and avoid them in makuun.

Anyways, If someone wants to fill me in on what i'm doing wrong, feel free.

Well the one who had over 100 hp was a 135 hp monk... I have personally been using that for a while now for djinns... Till now dual with a ss necro, but was already considering ss to solo (but havent capped it with my monk.... yeh i know im lazy )

Ok my last 5 farming runs have run me at about 45k a run. U have to realize that this run takes me about and hour and 10 minutes. I kill the djinn paragon boss, the djinn dervishboss(little more difficult then paragon) and the ranger boss. Usually getting one of the greens if not 2 or all 3. The greens sell for about 25-40k depending on the buyer. I also usually get 3-4 rubies and 2-3 sapphires a run just from the number of essences i get + jewled daggers. I get about 20-25 ruby essences and about 35-40 sapphire essences. Depending on the mood im in i will either sell the essences for 500 gold each to people that are willing to buy them for that or ill salvage and get about 2 rubies. or 2 spahs. Then the rest come from the 10-20 jewled items i get. So in retrospek a run can be as low as 10k for me or as high as 80k+. The most profitable run was the 8th run i did yesturday. I got all 3 greens + 6 rubies and 7 saphs. Total profit was around 160k. I still find the 55 with hb still to be the easiest way to do this. Does ne one know if u can duel with a ranger so that u can run a AV style monk like with the shirokin?
Thanks and i think i may try the ranger style with a guildie later ill tell ya how it goes.
